About Us
3DTECHLAB – Shaping your ideas through a passion for volume
3DTECHLAB is more than just a 3D printing workshop — it’s a human and technological adventure that began with the meeting of two passionate minds, Benoît and Olivier. They combined their skills to create a company entirely dedicated to the fabrication of custom 3D-printed objects, decor, and large-scale structures — from the tiniest prototype to monumental sculptures.
A story of complementarity and passion
The 3DTECHLAB journey officially started in 2021, but its roots go back much further. Benoît, founder of SLICE3D (est. 2009), specialized in selling 3D printers. Olivier, a precision mechanic, discovered 3D printing out of personal curiosity. Their paths crossed naturally when Olivier bought a machine from SLICE3D — one discussion led to another, and soon the first collaborative projects began.
Over time, 3D printing became a part of their daily lives — first for fun, then through real orders.
This is how 3DTECHLAB was born: a full-service 3D printing workshop built on a shared belief — when creativity meets technology, anything is possible.

A multi-talented team
Behind every project at 3DTECHLAB is a team of committed, complementary, and passionate individuals. Our strength lies in the diversity of our profiles and our ability to combine technical expertise, creativity, and practical thinking in every challenge.

Benoit V.
Co-founder of 3DTECHLAB and founder of SLICE3D in 2009, Benoît is the driving force behind global strategy, sales relations, supplier management, and all administrative aspects of the business.
Organized, responsive, and always attentive, he’s your first point of contact. He ensures that every project starts on solid foundations, with a realistic, feasible and budget-conscious approach. He thrives on finding practical solutions to even the most unusual ideas.

Olivier M.
A trained precision mechanic, Olivier is the second co-founder of 3DTECHLAB. Initially drawn to 3D printing as a personal passion, it soon became a full profession. He manages the entire machine fleet, handles maintenance and repair, and oversees the structural and technical design of XXL projects.
Rigorous, calm and inventive, Olivier excels at assembling and optimizing complex volumes. He loves projects that combine materials, scale, printing techniques and logistical challenges.

Sergiu L.
An artist by training and former jeweler, Sergiu is our master of detail. Every piece that leaves the workshop passes through his hands: sanding, painting, patina, varnish, aging… He breathes life and character into each print, transforming raw objects into spectacular or realistic results.
He brings rare manual precision from his high-end artisan background and adds artistic flair to the technical expertise of the team — guaranteeing a polished, balanced, and visually impactful finish.

Méduline
Quiet but ever-present, Méduline is the gentle guardian of our workshop. She inspects boxes, watches over the prints in progress, and curls up on keyboards during stressful periods.
More than just a cat, she’s a full member of the team. Her calm and elegance are a daily source of inspiration. Let’s face it — the vibe wouldn’t be the same without her.
